Catalyst Program, Stand Together Foundation
POETIC was selected to join the highly competitive Catalyst Program which brings together nonprofits from across the nation who have demonstrated an effective approach to addressing one or more of the root drivers of cyclical poverty. The program coaches nonprofit organizations to take a business-minded approach to growth and scale, with the Market-Based Management philosophy driving program curriculum.
BBVA Momentum
POETIC was one of 19 social entrepreneurs from across the country selected to participate in the national BBVA Momentum accelerator program which provides 5 months of intensive education and mentorship equipping organizations to scale their efforts and enhance their social impact.
Social Venture Partners of Dallas
Upon winning the 2019 SVP Spark Tank pitch event, POETIC became a SVP Advisee. SVP mentors are supporting POETIC by providing strategic consultation on the growth plan for POETIC’s Design Co. and the launch of POETIC’s Entrepreneurial Institute.
Texas Women’s Foundation
The Texas Women’s Foundation is committed to advancing economic security and leadership opportunities for women and girls. In 2019, TWF recognized POETIC Co-Founder and CEO, Dr. HaeSung Han, as the 2019 Young Leader of the Year. This prestigious honor recognizes trailblazers under 40 who are achieving success in their field and creating a path of opportunity for other women to follow.
Poiema Foundation
The Poiema Foundation educates the public and raises awareness on the issue of exploitation and trafficking, while delivering a safe house for women. Poeima is a constant source of support to POETIC through the provision of volunteers, donations and more
The Dallas Mavericks Foundation
The Dallas Mavericks Foundation provides financial support and shares the work of POETIC at community events to increase awareness and live out their mission of building a stronger community by empowering youth, women and families who need them the most.
Office of Governor Greg Abbott
In conjunction with the leadership, dedication and hard work of Governor Greg Abbott’s Child Sex Trafficking Team, POETIC receives funding to deliver the POETIC Trauma Therapy Continuum for Juvenile Justice Involved Victims of Sex Trafficking. This partnership increases the scale of trauma therapy programming and number of girls served through in-community aftercare.
PepsiCo Food For Good
PepsiCo’s Food for Good Team became the first client of POETIC’s social enterprise — the POETIC Design Co. — hiring POETIC girls to develop a creative solution to enhance education and engagement on the nutritional benefits of better-for-you food items.
Mueller Financial Solutions
Owner, Amanda Mueller, uses her extensive expertise and super human responsiveness to support the POETIC team with all things related to payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting and QuickBooks.
Visionary Playground
The VP Agency raised their hand to help refine POETIC’s branding and identity. Through the donation of their time and talent, POETIC was gifted a new and improved look and feel.
United Way Social Innovation Accelerator
Through a competitive application and pitch process, POETIC was selected by the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas as a 2018-2019 Social Innovation Accelerator Fellow. POETIC receives financial, human and social capital to ensure POETIC’s program model is sustainable and scalable. In April 2019, at the culmination of the program, POETIC won the final pitch and was named the 2019 Social Innovator of the Year.
Intuit
At their corporate headquarters in Plano, Intuit has partnered with POETIC through volunteer opportunities and in-kind donations, most recently purchasing and building lockers, drawing tables, easels, and art cabinets for POETIC girls.
Dallas County Juvenile Department
Through a formal Memorandum of Understanding, POETIC provides in-community aftercare for juvenile justice involved girls identified as having experienced child maltreatment, commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. In 2018, the Dallas County Juvenile Department and POETIC launched a breakthrough collaboration called Pipeline to Success with the goal of ending the cycle of re-victimization for girls exiting Dallas County Juvenile’s Letot Residential Treatment Center.
The Beck Group
The Beck Group took on a full pro bono renovation of POETIC’s Student Center and Classroom. They assembled an army of passionate employees across all disciplines. Their team re-imagined the space, completed a full demo, and built a new state-of-the-art classroom, kitchen, bathrooms, clothing closet, and more to ensure POETIC girls have access to equitable education and resources.
TriArc Construction
In December 2017, TriArc Construction agreed to be POETIC’s first major corporate partner leading a 6-figure pro bono renovation of POETIC’s trauma therapy center and on-site classroom. After renovating the Statler Hotel and building out the new Dallas Morning News Building, TriArc rallied their sub-contract partners and led all planning, design and execution of the new space. A true community champion, TriArc Construction made it possible to open POETIC’s door in downtown Dallas.
Office of Commissioner Theresa Daniel
As a leader of the Youth Homeless Services Coalition, Commissioner Theresa Daniel paved the way for POETIC to reclaim formerly abandoned space in the heart of Dallas for POETIC’s service delivery. Commissioner Daniel is a fierce advocate for girls and women, and her voice played a key role in the opening of POETIC’s downtown Dallas location.

Dr. Han and Ms. Tinker (POETIC’s Co-Founders) acknowledge that POETIC would not be where it is today without the support, mentorship and genuine collaboration of Café Momentum’s Executive Director and Executive Chef, Chad Houser.
Bent Tree Bible Church
In September 2017, Bent Tree Bible Church helped with POETIC’s initial launch by providing free space for the delivery of therapeutic services. The Bent Tree Bible Church community (including life groups, Bible study groups and more) generously supports POETIC with financial and in-kind contributions, and volunteers, to aid in on-going program delivery.
